The Beast has awoken be watching

Our world today has an insatiable appetite for destruction. Pain and suffering is being broadcast daily in the news. Wars are igniting like wild fires, towns are being destroyed by natural disasters, and lives are being snuffed out. All this is happening without so much as a warning. Or so we think.

The Bible is full of beneficial elements that guide us to a better life. It overflows with wisdom, love and truth. The Bible also brings us wonderful news of Christ’s return and His plans for His believers. But, it also foretells of a time when the world will fall into a dismal pit of hysteria. The Bible talks of war, famine and pestilence. It also explains signs of a coming Tribulation, the Last Days, the torments that face us.

Nation will fight against nation. There have always been wars through out history, but not until the last decade on such a global extent. Famines and disease. In many nations famine is the norm and diseases are beyond cures, such as aids. People are getting sick or dying from the foods they eat in the industrialized nations, not just the third world countries. Earth quakes in many places. In the last decade earth quakes have increased in both locations , places not known for earthquakes, and in the number of deaths. Tormented and killed, hated by nations. Christians are persecuted globally as never before for their beliefs in Christ. Love will grow cold, evil will increase This could not better describe the world of today, where evil is considered right by societies. And these are only the beginning of sorrows, the signal for the troubles to come, the tribulation period, this is our wake up call.

But yet we have a Final Sign to watch for, "Zec 12:23, Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it." . With all that is going on in Israel today, we are not far from this taking place.

Why does the Bible disclose all this information to us? The Lord wants us to be watching His signs so that we may be prepared. We will not know the hour or day of His return. He will come like a thief in the night, He doesn’t want us to be caught unawares.
