In Revelation 6, we read about a series of seals that are opened one after another, with each uncovering a major event of the latter days, such as war, disease, and famine.  In many respects, these things have been on-going for a long time, but towards the end they will increase in severity. Prophecy speaks of the coming shortage food and water, pestilences, and natural disasters, can it be any clearer?
