Found Again

Most of my life I wandered
blindly through the thorns of life
Questioning my existence
Wondering why I was even alive.

Those questions always seemed to arise
When life was the most unbearable
I turned to sin instead of prayer
By grace He never lost faith in me.

Then someone reintroduced me
To Him from Whom I'd strayed
It took years to acknowledge Him
The one to Whom I prayed.

I asked Him for forgiveness
For sins committed in life
Then vowed to get to know Him
He who gave His life for mine.

I prayed for Him to take my hand
So He could guide me through each day
Since I gave life over to Jesus
I feel loved in a brand new way.
