Genesis 1:1 "God created the heavens and the earth."
Deuteronomy 6:4 "The Lord our God is one God."

What Does God Look Like?
Though no one has ever seen the Father, we are given clues as to his appearance.
Genesis 1:27 "God created man in his own image,"
Genesis 5:1 "In the day that God created man, God created him in his likeness."
Exodus 33:17-23 "And the Lord said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name. And he said, I beseech thee, show me thy glory. And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy. And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. And the Lord said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shall stand upon a rock: And it shall come to pass, while my glory passes by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: And I will take away mine hand, and thou shall see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen."

As for those scriptures that state individuals both saw and heard God, Genesis 23:30, Exodus 3:6, 33:17-23, Numbers 12:6-8, Joshua 5:13, 6:2, Judges 6:12-14, Isaiah 6:1-3, and Ezekiel 1:26, 2:4, it was not God the Father, but God the word who became the Christ.

Although some pronounce YHVH as Jehovah or Yaweh, we no longer know the proper pronunciation. The Jewish people stopped saying this name by the third century A.D. out of fear of violating the commandment "You shall not take the name of YHVH your God in vain" (Exodus 20:7).
